Dr. Eric Dessner, MD

Dr. Dessner is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He has performed thousands of successful cataract surgery operations. Dr. Dessner completed his medical education at Chicago Medical School. He then moved to New York where he completed a residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital.  He also completed a fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology from the world famous Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Dessner and his office staff are committed to providing the highest level of care for his patients.

In his free time, Dr. Dessner loves to spend time at the gym, writing and traveling. He is also avid film enthusiast. 

Dr. Jocelyn Cercone, OD, FAAO

Dr. Cercone is a residency-trained optometrist specializing in ocular disease and family practice. She performs comprehensive eye exams including refractions, contact lens fits (soft and rigid gas permeable), and management and treatment of ocular disease not requiring surgical intervention. 

Dr. Cercone grew up in Sarasota, FL, the sunshine state where she earned her bachelors degree in marine biology at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. She first became interested in vision while working on a senior thesis project on visual allometry of deep sea fish. At the time, Dr. Cercone was considering various healthcare fields as a future career path. When Dr. Cercone started shadowing local optometrists to learn more about the field, she immediately knew that was the career for her. 

In her spare time, Dr. Cercone enjoys rock climbing, scuba diving and traveling.

Alexander Rabinovich, MD

Alexander Rabinovich, MD is an oculoplastics-trained ophthalmologist serving New York City area. He specializes in surgery of the eyelids, orbit and lacrimal system, as well as facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Rabinovich spends quality time with each and every patient to instill confidence and ensure patient satisfaction.

Dr. Rabinovich is a member of American Academy of Ophthalmology. Fluent in English, Russian and Medical Spanish.

David Maria Rubaltelli, MD, MBA

Dr. Rubaltelli is an Ophthalmologist who specializes in the treatment of diseases and in the surgery of the retina and vitreous. This includes conditions such as Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, and Retinal Detachments.

For the past 5 years he has been an assistant professor of Ophthalmology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Rubaltelli is now in private practice providing subspecialty care for patients with retinal diseases in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn.

Dr. Rubaltelli received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Dartmouth College and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.

Dr. Rubaltelli completed his Ophthalmology residency training at New York Medical College | St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York, and his fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary | Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Rubaltelli also received a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School
