Dr. Dessner is a board certified ophthalmologist.

Dr. Eric Dessner performs no-stitch, micro-incisional cataract surgery.  This technique utilizes ultrasound technology to fragment and remove your cataract.

After the cataract is removed, a new intraocular lens is implanted into the eye. During your cataract consultation, Dr. Dessner will help you to choose the type of implant (intraocular lens) that best suits your visual requirements.

Cataract surgery is performed on an outpatient basis and routinely takes less than 20 minutes to complete.

Patients return home the same day approximately one hour after the procedure.
